US-Russia prisoner swap

Well this was one of the biggest prisoner swaps in recent years Big Grin maybe since the Cold war

Now when you think about it , the Russians received more valuable agents again that the Americans

Along with FSB agents, killers etc what was interesting was they got back Vladislav Klyushin that netted approximately $93 million from US networks and also Roman Seleznev who was sentenced to 14 years in prison for his role in a $50 million cyberfraud ring. Others released are spies etc.

Also imagine the humiliation for the West to let go Vadim Krasikov who is a murderer among everything else and killed a person in a public Berlin park during broad daylight, I mean ...

Any opinions on this? You can check the list online, I am lazy to post it.

the Russians won't sent a high ranked FSB colonel just to kill a random guy in the middle of Berlin : D

Nevertheless, this might set a precedent which is not good at all

The dude who got killed was a random anti-Russia fighter. The US had no place in that as all of that was before they got into the Ukraine war. So the US didn't have any reason to keep him. So trading him for a high profile journalist and a few other people was a good decision.

Again you are skipping the high ranked FSB colonel part, also excuse me but since when is it ok to trade murderers with life sentences which will be greeted as heroes in their home country? That ain't no political prisoner , also before Navalny died, it was talked that they will exchange him for him, Russia has a reason to want him so badly otherwise they would not insisted so much. But again a murderer with a life sentence roaming the streets free : ) is this a good precedent ?

And they have not traded him only for a journalist and a few more people, you make it sound like it's that, Russia took back multiple spies and two cyberfellas back : )

Yeah a lot of weird shit goes on with these trades. Just a weird concept to even think about. I don't know a ton about the US people in these trades, but surely they're getting the worse end?
