Digital Footprint OSINT Tool

Digital Footprint OSINT Tool is a powerful Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) tool for analyzing digital footprints across multiple platforms. The tool helps researchers and information security professionals to map an individual's online presence while complying with privacy policies and platform requirements.

The tool checks different variations of spelling a nickname using a period, underscore or hyphen. Analyzes possible domains and parses contact information when available.

The tool installs like most of these tools. Clone the repository and install dependencies.

Run with the nickname parameter we are looking for, let's take the common johndoe and test the tool.

With the output of domains coped well, there is all the necessary information. It also coped with social networks, a small number of them can be justified by their popularity. But with the output of contact information there were problems, which are not solved even with the use of proxies.

The tool is not bad, it gives detailed information, but the output of contact information is worth working on, but the idea is good.

Gosearch

GoSearch is a tool for OSINT to find users' digital footprints online and across various social networks, including through integration with HudsonRock and BreachDirectory.org databases for information on cybercrime and compromised passwords.

The tool is written in Go language, so installing it is a simple command:

go install github.com/ibnaleem/gosearch@latest

But if for some reason it doesn't run, you can clone the repository and run the gosearch.go file.

cd gosearch
go run gosearch.go

Let's run it using the nickname as a parameter.

The tool worked almost perfectly! There are almost no questions to the output of websites and social networks, most websites and social networks are relevant in investigations. The database output is pretty good and in a real investigation it can provide a lot of additional information. The domains were identified correctly.
