Steps to Hack Wi-Fi using Fern WiFi Cracker

1. Start Fern WiFi Cracker: Open a terminal and launch Fern with:
   $ sudo fern-wifi-cracker
2. 1. Select the Interface: Choose your Wi-Fi adapter from the list. Fern requires a compatible wireless adapter that supports monitor mode.
      
   2. Enable Monitor Mode: Fern automatically enables monitor mode on the adapter. Confirm the mode switch by observing the adapter in "monitor mode" in the interface.

      • Click "Scan for Access Points" to identify nearby Wi-Fi networks.
        
      • Fern categorizes networks by WEP, WPA, and WPA2 encryption.
        
   4. Crack WEP Networks:
      • For WEP, select the network, then click "WEP" to start packet capturing.
        
      • Fern captures packets and tries various attacks to recover the WEP key.
        
      • Once it captures enough packets, it performs an FMS/Korek or PTW attack to crack the key.
        
   5. Crack WPA/WPA2 Networks:
      • For WPA/WPA2, select the network and click "WPA".
        
      • Fern uses dictionary attacks to crack WPA/WPA2 keys, so ensure you have a dictionary file (e.g.,
        rockyou.txt
        ).
        
      • Fern will capture a 4-way handshake, required for WPA/WPA2 cracking, then brute-force the passphrase using the dictionary file.
        
   6. Session Logging and Results:
      • Fern logs each session and saves cracked keys.
        
      • After successful cracking, the Wi-Fi key appears on the interface, and you can view it in the session logs.
