Somehow I forgot about this band. Then found out recently the singer killed himself a few years ago, pretty upsetting. So time to blast this album all today.

nice! I got hooked through Ritual which i blast in the car too god damn often. Gotta start from Miasma and blast my way towards their newest cuz I haven't heard anything post Nightbringers. Also thx for rep man! appreciate it

No problem at all bud. 

I remember listening to ritual but I don't remember much of it. I do remember it's pretty similar to Nocturnal, which is always a good thing. I haven't heard anything past that at all. 

Let me know what you think when you get up to there, I'll do the same.

Miasma and Nocturnal were once among the most beloved metal albums of all. I haven't heard their albums since nocturnal. I didn't know of his vocalist was dead. It's very sad, his vocals were amazing.

100%. I didn't realise until recently either, I hadn't listened in years then fucking saw that. I'm not massively surprised someone who wrote those lyrics killed himself but it's definitely a fucking shame.
