Well from the last world news I can't find any reason to say "Ukraine has already lost". Unless "lost" means "get world wide support and modern weapons".
Country was weaker before the invasion, that's the fact and it was real stupidity on the part of Russia to create such a strong neighbor in this way.

This documentary is dry, but it was made years before the war started and paints a very different picture of what's going on than what the US says.
It talks about the US CIA installing presidents in the Ukraine, the US funding people who kills Jews in the Ukraine.
It's worth a watch to gain a bigger picture of what's going on.
