I have already tried multiple games from Paradox, however I got a little tired because of them and I am looking for something fresh and with different mechanics than those provided in HOI4 or Stellaris...

this is a paradox game but Victoria 3 is quite good always worth a try

Command and Conquer redalert 2.

fun fact - if you google EmuOS - you will find a version of the game you can play in the browser along wiht a few other od titles like wolfenstein and so on.

really quite nifty.
