10.6m emails is no joke,, and salted sha-1 already tells you the era.. “better than plain text” but still nowhere near safe by today’s standards.. admin birthdays and ips leaking is especially bad,, that’s the kind of meta data attackers love for pivoting..
also funny how a gaming portal ends up holding bios, genders, geo locations etc,, way more data than actually needed.. classic case of over-collection coming back to bite later..
good example of why even “harmless” sites matter when it comes to security,, users reuse emails and passwords everywhere.. one breach here, chain reaction everywhere else..
