I hate Kali. ParrotOS is much better to install as your daily driver.

But both lose tools occasionally or they stop working. Like the fern-wifi tool. I have to use wifite2 now.

Better driver support. The Kali use case is to use it in VM ware, where driver support doesn't matter.

ParrotOS works on every laptop I've installed it on, except maybe some ancient Chromebooks.

If you like Debian it's great. It's bigger than most distros because it includes so many hacking utilities.

Not sure how it compares to Kali now. I didn't like Kali.

Maybe because of the wide range of utilities that Kali has, it can be challenging for some people. I also found it difficult when I first started.
