Accessing and dumping databases taking long time

Hey everyone, i an using ghauri to dump a database and it is taking a long time. Is this normal, or am i doing something wrong? I have seen other people using ghauri and accessing the database quickly, and i have used other tools like sqlmap and it is way faster. Any ideas?
