Calling all female hackers

Most often when we think 'hacker' we think of young males. Most of the research on hackers is about males, the history is told by males about males. But when you attend DefCon you see lots of female attendees.

Where are all the female hackers at?

I would really like to include some female hackers in my dissertation research. So if you are a female who is currently or has previously engaged in blackhat/unauthorized hacking, I would love if you would consider participating in my research.

Participation involves one anonymous interview with me. I don't ask any personal identifying information or about specific hacking activities. I am interested in how you became involved in hacking activities. You can remain ANONYMOUS and choose the platform for the interview. The interview can be done entirely via text/messaging.

If you are a female hacker . . . I want to hear from you! If you are interested in participating in my research, please reach out.

You all have jokes . . . Sadly not collecting enough data for your dissertation is no laughing matter. I am not here to annoy anyone. Just here to learn and try to find some participants. The banter is fun though and much appreciated.

This is also a very valid point. Too much hookup culture these days, especially being hidden behind a screen

This is so sad. I don't get why some people use platforms that are NOT dating apps, as dating apps. What is worse, is that females can't be on a hacking forum without hook up attempts. Why are female hackers treated differently than male hackers?

Also unless the moniker being used is particularly feminine, how does anyone know the sex of anyone on here anyhow?

Is that because you do not believe there are female hackers on the forum or because you don't think they would ever respond to my post?

Wow. I seriously find this so sad. The fact that my post has been interpreted as me trying to hook up instead of me actually valuing the opinions and experiences of female hackers.

A onion in your ointment there my friend, I guess you won't be able to get a true answer to your original query...
