Sounds wild! ? Taking a whole country offline is super hard, but totally possible to mess things up. Can’t wait to see how they spin it!

I wouldn't think any large country, but a smaller developing nation could maybe be taken out - but only one piece at a time.

You have to enjoy political intrigues. The cyberattack is just an excuse.
It reminds me of the book The President Is Missing. The story follows Jonathan Duncan, President of the United States, who faces a serious national threat: a massive cyberattack called Dark Ages, capable of completely paralyzing the country. Accused of treason and threatened by political enemies, he decides to disappear temporarily to investigate the threat himself. With the help of trusted advisors and a double agent infiltrated into a terrorist organization, he discovers that the attack is orchestrated by a group of cybercriminals backed by a foreign nation. For Netflix, the enemy comes from within.

Do you think it's realistic to take an entire country offline through a cyberattack? Not yet in US. I think the movie should be made about EU, becasue with current push to IOT in every sphere in our lives humans are too dependent on their devices. And now with AI which to me is just marriage between Wikipedia and Google on steroids we are entering chaos. And last, I recommend Blackout book (not the movie), worth reading. And if you like that book, check Zero and Greed.
